At the beginning of the Empire period there were numerous regiments of chasseurs à cheval which were dressed as hussars, but by 1806 practically all of them were dressed in the regulation long-tiled coat which was in use up until 1809, when this coat lost its lapels and the tails were shortened. 1809-1812 in Kinski coat - Trumpeter Elite Company in busby...
